Age 13-21

Maniram ji's childhood ended at 13. His father died, leaving behind 6 bigha land and ₹24000 debt. Then a powerful man took their land. Just like that. Gone.

For 8 years, Maniram worked as a daily wage laborer on his own family's land. ₹30 per day. 6 AM to 10 PM. "I became a laborer on my own land," he says quietly. But he never stopped fighting to get it back.

Age 21-31

At 21, the land finally came back after years of court battles. Maniram cried with joy.

Two months later, his brother died suddenly. Now he had to raise 5 kids—his brother's 3 children and his 2 younger siblings. 

He worked three jobs—farming, construction, driving tractors. The kids never slept hungry, but Maniram barely slept. By 2021, he had 8 Rathi cows. But local buyers paid only ₹28 per liter. After costs, almost no profit.

2022-Now

In 2022, Ratnaya Organics came to his farm. "We'll buy your milk at fair prices. We'll make pure A2 ghee from YOUR desi cows' milk. And we'll put YOUR name on every bottle."

For years, no one cared whose cow gave the milk. Now someone wanted his story told.

Today, Maniram has 23 Rathi cows (grew from 8!). He supplies fresh A2 milk daily to Ratnaya. His cows' milk makes ghee for 4,000+ families every year. The debt? Paid in 2023. The kids? 4 married and one studying agriculture.

"Before, I was selling milk at ₹28/liter. Now my cows have names on bottles. My work has value," Maniram says with tears and a smile.
